Tax me Fairly or don't tax me at all

With W-2's due to be mailed out by the 30th of January. It is time to review why people get so excited about their refund. People get excited about this refund because they have allowed the government to tax them before they even receive the full amount of their paycheck. I suppose many people look at it as a zero interest earned savings account. One in which they never really know how much they will get back until they pay someone to decipher the 40,000+ pages of code written by the IRS.

Oh yes.. and let's not forget that the U.S. government can tax you up to 100%. Most times this never happens, but it is within their power.

Think happy thoughts my freaky darlings. It gets better. The U.S. has the biggest deficit in its history. With more and more money and jobs going overseas because, the taxation here is just too much on corporations to keep the business here. We had a tax reform committee that came up with almost nothing as a suggestion.

I think H.R. 25 would straighten this mess out when they make it a law. We still have Representatives and Senators that will do nothing to upset the status quo.

The Fairtax plan would not eliminate taxes, but it would make them fair for all.
Learn more here ( http://www.fairtaxvolunteer.org/smart/index.html ) about how it works, or buy the Fairtax book by Neal Boortz and John Linder. There is even an article written by Alexander Hamilton there as well ( http://www.fairtaxvolunteer.org/smart/origins.html )

Next payday take a real good look at your paycheck and tell me if you would rather have ALL of your paycheck, or keep letting the IRS hack it to pieces.

Until next time our freaky darlings. ;)
